Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 24 June 2026

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Recola mobile application and this website (together, the “Service”), provided by Recola Pty Ltd (“Recola”, “we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The Service

Recola lets you save short-form videos and other content and automatically organizes the information within them into searchable categories. Features may change, expand or be discontinued over time as we improve the product.

2. Your account

You must provide accurate information when creating an account and are responsible for keeping your login secure and for all activity under your account. You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction) to use the Service.

3. Subscriptions and billing

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Service. In particular, you will not: use the Service for any unlawful purpose; upload or save content you do not have the right to use; attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer or gain unauthorised access to the Service; or use the Service in a way that infringes the rights of others.

5. Your content and third-party content

You are responsible for the content you choose to save. The videos and posts you save originate from third parties and remain the property of their respective owners; Recola does not claim ownership of that content and is not responsible for it. You grant us the limited rights necessary to process and store your saved content so we can provide the Service to you.

6. Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design, branding and content created by us, is owned by Recola Pty Ltd and protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes.

7. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. Information automatically extracted from videos may be incomplete or inaccurate, and you should not rely on it as professional advice (including health, dietary or financial advice). To the maximum extent permitted by law, we exclude all warranties not expressly stated in these Terms. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Recola will not be liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from your use of the Service. Where our liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to resupplying the Service or paying the cost of resupply.

9. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or if we discontinue the Service. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will continue to apply.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia, and you submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of that State.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated version here and revise the “Last updated” date. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
